Dorian Tool, a U.S.A. company located in East Bernard, Texas, is a manufacturer of lathe and milling accessories, turning and milling indexable tools, internal/external threading tools, quick change and indexable tooling systems for manual and CNC machines. We are committed to supply the highest quality of tooling in the industry.

All the tools are engineered and developed to match and exceed the most advanced technology available in today’s industry. The strict quality control and tests performed on each and every tool guarantees the highest level of quality.

Dorian Tool International was incorporated in1982 and has become a leader in fields of manufacturing and sales of Machine Tool accessories.

The Dorian Product Line is divided into four distinct divisions

• Indexable Cutting Tools. Turning Toolholders, Cut-Off Tools, Boring Bars,  Milling Cutters, and Carbide Inserts.
• Knurling Tools. Knurling Toolholders and Wheels.
• Machine Tool Accessories. Quick Change Tool Posts, Tru Jaws Chuck Adapters and Right Angle Milling Attachments.
• Automation Products. Manual Indexable Turrets, Automatic Electro-Pneumatic Indexable Turrets.

Chronological History

• 1979. Receives the Patent for the Quadra Index Tool Post.
• 1982. Incorporated in Houston Texas.
• 1983. Moves to a 5,000 sq. ft. facility located in East         Bernard, Texas. The facility has since expanded to over 20,000 sq. ft.
• 1984. Introduces the Quadra index Tool Post.
• 1984. Introduces the Tru Jaws Chuck Adapter.
• 1985. Introduces the Economy Quick Change Tool Post.
• 1986. Introduces the Mini Quick Change Tool Post.
• 1990. Receives Patent and Introduces the Super Quick Change Tool Post.
• 1990. Introduces the 107 Series of Cutting Knurling Tool.
• 1993. Introduces the VIT Series of Manual Indexing Turret.
• 1994. Introduces a broad line of Indexable Tooling.
• 1996. Introduces the new generation of the VIT Series of Manual Indexing Turret,  the NVIT.
• 1996. Introduces the SMARTDEX Series of Electro-Pneumatic Automated Turret.
• 1997. Introduces the CNC Modular Knurling Tool, Patent Pending.
• 1997. Introduces the REC Face Mill for recyclable inserts.
• 1997. Introduces the second generation of the SMARTDEX Series of Electro-Pneumatic Automated Turret.
• 1997. Introduces the POWERDEX Series of Electro-Mechanical Automated Turret, Patent Pending.
• 1997. Announces and begins to implement the Authorized DORIAN Distributor Program.
• 2000. Patent for the Dovetail Cutter.
